Ladies and gentlemen, teachers and fellow students,
Good morning! Today, I am going to talk about my first year of learning English. It has been an exciting journey filled with new words, interesting stories, and fun activities.
In the beginning, I was introduced to the English alphabet. I learned how to recognize each letter and its sound. It was fascinating to see how these letters could be combined to form words. My teacher taught us simple words like cat, dog, and ball. With practice, I started to read short sentences and stories.
Next, we learned about numbers and colors in English. Counting from one to ten was easy, and I enjoyed learning the names of different colors. We played games where we had to match colors with objects, which made learning very enjoyable.
Another important aspect of learning English was grammar. We learned about nouns, verbs, and adjectives. I found it interesting how these different parts of speech could be used to create sentences. We played grammar games, where we had to identify the correct part of speech for a given word.
One of the highlights of my English class was storytelling. Our teacher would read us interesting stories in English. These stories were not only entertaining but also helped improve our listening skills. Afterward, we would discuss the story and share our thoughts.
In addition to classroom activities, we also had English songs and rhymes. We learned popular nursery rhymes like "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and sang them together. These songs helped us remember vocabulary and improve our pronunciation.
Throughout the year, my English vocabulary expanded, and I became more confident in speaking English. I started having simple conversations with my classmates and even with my English teacher. It was a great feeling to communicate using a new language.
As I reflect on my first year of learning English, I am grateful for the opportunities to learn and grow. English has opened up a whole new world for me, allowing me to connect with people from different countries and cultures.
In conclusion, my first year of learning English has been an amazing experience. I have learned the alphabet, numbers, colors, grammar, and vocabulary. I have enjoyed storytelling, singing songs, and having conversations in English. I am excited to continue my English journey and explore even more in the coming years.
